In Washington, former President Donald Trump implied that former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley might join his ranks, following her announcement to support him in the upcoming November election.

I appreciated what she said," Trump conveyed to Long Island's News 12 post his Bronx rally on Thursday. When questioned about her potential role within his team or on his ticket, Trump responded, "Well, I believe she'll be on our team because we share many of the same ideas, the same thoughts."

The extent of Haley's involvement in Trump's re-election efforts remains uncertain, given her somewhat restrained endorsement. At present, Haley hasn't publicly indicated her willingness to collaborate with the Trump campaign. Following a May 11 speculation suggesting Haley as a possible vice-presidential candidate, Trump swiftly clarified on Truth Social, stating, "Nikki Haley is not under consideration for the V.P. slot, but I wish her well!"

The ex-United Nations ambassador expressed her intention to cast her vote for Trump, citing her belief in President Joe Biden's inadequate performance in foreign affairs.

Trump hasn't been flawless on these matters, but Biden's record has been disastrous," Haley remarked during a foreign policy discussion at the Hudson Institute, where she holds a position. "Thus, I'll be supporting Trump at the polls.

Haley reaffirmed her stance expressed during her campaign suspension speech on March 6, where she emphasized, "It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party who did not support him, and I hope he does."

Renowned for her capacity to draw support from a diverse spectrum of voters, including independents and moderate Republicans, Haley has been a focal point. The Biden campaign has acknowledged its outreach efforts to her supporters, recognizing their reservations about Trump as the Republican nominee. Despite exiting the race, Haley has sustained her appeal, continuing to attract votes.
